DeSaulle (Water Desalination)

DeSaulle is developed based on a new patented technology of providing both chilling and water desalination, based on the Adsorption (AD) technique. It is driven by clean energy - either waste heat emissions from factories or solar thermal energy.

It is capable of desalinating sea water and brackish water. The input (sea water/brackish water) has to undergo pre-treatment process prior to utilising it for evaporation within the system. In addition, the output (pure water) obtained is non-potable yet as it is deprived of essential minerals, and thus it has to undergo a post-treatment process to obtain potable water.

DeSaulle is currently is its prototype development stage.
